On March 18, 2026, the next meeting of the DIA seminar was held, where Rodion Bukhanevich (scientific supervisor Prof. Shelestov A.), a graduate student of the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis, spoke on the topic “Semisupervised approaches for forest health monitoring”.
Rodion presented his work on the topic of his dissertation research, in particular, machine learning methods for monitoring forest quality using satellite data. After the speech, there was an active discussion of the results obtained and ideas for further steps were expressed.
