🌍📡 On March 13, 2025, the communication platform (Science for Recovery and Sustainability) hosted a meeting with Prof. Nataliia Kussul, a leading researcher in artificial intelligence, satellite monitoring, and big geospatial data processing. She is a professor at the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis at NTUU “KPI” and an associate researcher at the University of Maryland (UMD). The discussion focused on Earth intelligence for land use analysis and sustainable development.
During the discussion, participants explored potential collaboration opportunities with other researchers and institutions, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in tackling complex satellite monitoring challenges. The need for large interdisciplinary teams to achieve significant results in this field was also highlighted.
