On Thursday, May 18, 2023, the department’s staff discussed the impact of the Russian war in Ukraine on agriculture at a special session of the Ninth International Conference on Agricultural Statistics (ICAS IX).
Together with the JRC EC, the World Bank and the University of Maryland, the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis discussed damage detection, the assessment of agricultural land areas and the economic impact of the war on agriculture in Ukraine.… Continue reading

In December 9-11, teachers and students presented the results of their research at the international scientific conference DESSERT’2022 (12th International IEEE Conference Dependable Systems, Services and Technologies).
