We invite you to participate in the Earth Intelligence for Safe and Resilient Recovery of Ukraine (2nd International WS EI4Safe-DESSERT’2026) workshop at the international conference DESSERT 2026, co-organized by the MMDA Department NN IPT and the University of Maryland!
The workshop topics include:
– Impact of environmental and conflict threats on security, protection and resilience
– Artificial intelligence methods for processing satellite and geospatial data
– Reliable early warning and disaster risk management systems
– Geospatial analysis for recovery planning under uncertainty
– Integration of renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure solutions in post-conflict recovery
– Synergy between Earth intelligence, cybersecurity, IoT and big data for reliable and sustainable decision-making.
We especially encourage young scientists, postgraduates and master’s students – this is a great opportunity to present their work at an international level.
The deadline for submitting papers is May 11, 2026.
The conference is scheduled for October 2-4, 2026 in a mixed format (Corfu, Greece or online).
