Oleksii Novikov

Oleksiy Mykolayovych connected his life path with NTUU “KPI” in 1975, entering the first year of the Faculty of Automation and Electrical Instrumentation. Since his student years, he has put a lot of effort into the development of KPI – enthusiastically participated in the reconstruction of the institute, for a long time he served as the deputy director of the Research Institute of Interdisciplinary Research, the deputy head of the Department of Mathematical Methods of System Analysis.
Since 1995, he has been leading the work on the creation and development of the Institute of Physics and Technology in the position of dean of the Faculty of Physics and Technology (1995-1999), director of the Institute of Physics and Technology (1999-2015 and from 2019). Under his leadership, the Faculty of Physics and Technology, which initially had no departments, turned into a powerful structural division of KPI with 5 departments.
Head of the Department of Information Security (1999-2015).
Vice-rector for prospective development of Institute of Physics and Technology NTUU “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (2013-19).
Has about 300 publications.
