Today, July 21, the Rector of the University of Vaasa (Finland), Dr. Jari Kuusisto, visited the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss further cooperation.
The University of Vaasa is a state higher education institution, one of the youngest and most modern in Finland. Founded in 1968, it was the first to introduce an in-depth study of technology disciplines in its economics and business administration programs. That became a breakthrough in the field!
During the meeting of the Rector Prof. Kuusisto with representatives of the MMDA Department Prof. N.M. Kussul, Prof. A. Yu. Shelestov, PhD G. O. Yaylymova main directions of scientific cooperation have been determined, the possibilities of internship at the University of Vaasa for students and postgraduates of the department have been discussed. The discussion was attended by Prof. Dr. Andre Samberg and PhD Olena Maslyukivska.
