Tomorrow, November 25, there will be an online meeting with employers who are interested in discussing our educational program and agreed to participate in a meeting of our department with stakeholders of the educational program «Mathematical methods of modeling, pattern recognition and computer vision» specialty 113 «Applied Mathematics».
We will be glad to see absolutely everyone, so join!
The meeting plan is as follows:
1. Presentation of participants (5 minutes).
2. Introducing the faces of our bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, as well as revealing the challenges we see (15 min).
3. Discussion in the mode of panel discussion of the following issues (55 min):
- Why are you interested in cooperation with the specialty “Applied Mathematics”?
- What are your expectations from graduates (must have, optional)?
- What do you see as the advantages and disadvantages of our undergraduate program?
- What recommendations can you give to improve the bachelor’s degree program?
- What do you see as the advantages and disadvantages of our master’s program?
- What do you recommend to improve in the master’s program?
- What are your suggestions for deepening our cooperation (some are already conducting special courses, conducting guest lectures, we have a dual master’s degree with Samsung). Maybe, based on your own experience, you can suggest some more forms?
4. Free discussion (10 minutes).
5. Closing remarks (5 minutes).
