Artificial intelligence is an area that is developing very fast both economically and in terms of national security, so Ukraine should pay more attention to it.
This was emphasized by the head of the Ukrainian Foundation for Security Studies Yulia Kazdobina in a comment to a UKRINFORM correspondent.
«In countries such as the United States, China, India and Russia, very much attention is paid to the development of artificial intelligence. More than 60 countries have adopted strategic documents on the development of artificial intelligence. Ukraine is also among them. In May last year, the Cabinet of Ministers approved an action plan for the implementation of the Artificial Intelligence Development Concept for 2021-2024. Unfortunately, there is already a lag behind certain indicators in its implementation. But this should be a priority for us, because Ukraine has a well-developed market», – said Kazdobina.
She cited data from the analytical company GlobalData, according to which the market for artificial intelligence products will grow significantly in the next couple of years. According to the company’s forecast, the AI market in 2024 will be $ 52 billion, while in 2019 it was $ 28 billion.
