The Department of MMDA organized the section “Earth Intelligence for Safe and Resilient Recovery of Ukraine” at the 14th International Conference Dependable Systems, Services and Technologies (DESSERT) 2024, which was held on October 11-13. At the conference:
Associate Professor Hanna Yalymova presented works on changes in methane concentration, restoration of agriculture and analysis of soil moisture based on satellite data, carried out within the framework of the projects of NFSU and MES.
2nd year Master’s student Sofia Drozd presented research on the optimal choice of locations for wind power plants, carried out within the framework of the Horizon Europe U_CAN project.
Volodymyr Kuzin, Master of the 2nd year, presented a study on the assessment of the impact of the war on agriculture, carried out within the framework of the NFSU project.
Anton Chernyatevych, a 1st-year graduate student, presented a study of agricultural planning based on the analysis of temperature trends.
Our graduate Mykola Lavrenyuk demonstrated a new method of image depth assessment.
