We are pleased to announce that the Institute of Computer Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the State Agricultural University of Ukraine, together with NTUU “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, are starting to participate in the Horizon Europe FutureFOR project, which is aimed at creating innovative satellite monitoring tools to support EU legislation.
🔹 Prof. Andriy Shelestov took part in the project’s inaugural meeting, which took place at the EUSPA office in Prague.
🔹 Within the framework of the project, Ukraine is taking important steps towards harmonizing best practices in the use of satellite data with European countries.
It is especially pleasing to note that the achievements of the Department of MMDA IPT are moving to a new level. The FutureFOR project is a logical continuation of previous research within the framework of the SWiFTT project and allows us to develop our original methods and technologies.
Thanks to machine learning and artificial intelligence, we will create innovative applications for satellite monitoring of forests, in particular in Ukraine and Europe.
Together, we are building the future of Ukraine’s integration into the European scientific community!
