The guest speaker is Dr. Inbal Becker-Reshef, Director of the NASA Harvest Program, University of Maryland, USA. Dr. Inbal and the Harvest team promote the use of satellite technologies for assessing agriculture at the country level, which helps to support decision-making on food security.

The Harvest team is conducting a lot of research on the territory of Ukraine, including assessing losses after a full-scale invasion and is interested in establishing cooperation with Ukrainian experts on the impact of war on agriculture.
