On 15. 09. 2022 an open online presentation of the educational course “Fundamentals of Space Activities” initiated by the COSMOS Association took place. The course is aimed at a wide range of specialists (researchers, engineers, managers, postgraduates, students) who are interested in obtaining basic knowledge of current problems of space activities, priorities of international programmes for research and use of outer space. The course programme consists of two segments – domestic (taught by specialists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ihor Sikorsky KPI and Taras Shevchenko KNU universities) and American (Prof. Mike Gruntman, University of Southern California, USA).
The Space Information Technology course is presented by Natalia Kussul, Head of the Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis Department. This course is the core of the certificate program “Models and methods of intelligent analysis of heterogeneous data” for masters of Educational and Professional program “Mathematical Methods of Modelling, Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision” in specialty 113 Applied Mathematics.
