Launch of the online hackathon SpaceTech Europe

Yesterday, December 3, the online hackathon SPACETECH EUROPE started, among which the team «Orbital hackers» consisting of our students, a student of the Technical Lyceum of NTUU «KPI» and employees of the Institute of Space Research of NAS of Ukraine and SCA of Ukraine.

The leader, Mikhail Emelyanov, introduced the team and a common idea – the development of service analysis and forecasting the cost of housing. Right now, team members are working on the idea, working with diverse and satellite data, OrticalFlow, the Scikit-Image library and the Python programming language, and discovering an infinite number of new horizons, collaborating with each other and with more experienced colleagues. The SpaceTech Europe hackathon is 72 hours of teamwork, mentoring and prototyping new space technology.

How to reduce the cost of space flights by reusing? How to protect space technology from malware and cyber attacks? How to remove space debris and optimize space navigation? How to improve cooperation in space? The goal of the hackathon is to solve these challenges!

We wish the Orbital hackers team inspiration and success in their journey to the stars, where even the sky is not the limit!
