On 4 October, the first meeting on “Fundamentals of Space Information Technology” took place as part of the “Fundamentals of Space Activities” educational course. As part of this lecture, Natalia Nikolaevna, Head of the Department of Mathematical Modelling and Data Analysis, talked about the main problems of satellite monitoring in the world, geospatial intelligence, the era of big data and sources of information where satellite data can be accessed. The next meeting will look at sources of information at a more detailed level.
