On October 8-10, 2024, graduate students and masters of the MMAD department took part in the 2024 IEEE Fourth International Conference on System Analysis & Intelligent Computing (SAIC) and presented their scientific achievements.
Anton Okhrimenko (4th year graduate student) presented a paper on solving the problem of unbalanced data sets in the segmentation of satellite images.
Rodion Bukhanevich (2nd year graduate student) presented research on monitoring damaged forest areas using Sentinel-2 satellite data.
Pavlo Genitsoi (Ph.D. student, 1st year) demonstrated the results of increasing the spatial resolution of chlorophyll-A using machine learning as part of the Horizon Europe iMERMAID project.
Sofia Drozd (2nd year master’s student) presented a study of optimal zones for placing solar power plants in Ukraine using satellite data and machine learning.
