A meeting with Dr. Andrii Shelestov was held as part of the communication platform.

On April 9, 2025, a meeting was held as part of the discussion platform with Professor Andrii Shelestov from the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis, Educational and Scientific Institute of Physics and Technology, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute — an expert in artificial intelligence and satellite monitoring. The topic of the discussion was Satellite Intelligence for the Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the long-standing collaboration of the Ukrainian team with the Joint Research Center and the World Bank on creating annual land cover classification maps for Ukraine. A pilot Land Parcel Identification System (LPIS) project, supported by the World Bank, was also presented — aimed at delineating field boundaries. Additionally, the European SWIFTT project for mapping European forests was highlighted. The presentation also included a project focused on assessing the potential for solar and wind power station placement in Ukraine, based on multi-criteria suitability analysis. Finally, a joint project between KPI and the University of Geneva on developing Digital Twins to assess land cover changes was showcased. This project involves the use of fundamental models and cloud computing.
