Freshmen of our department took second place in the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Collegiate Programming Contest.
Members of the team are graduates of top lyceums of Ukraine: Heorhiy Bilostenko (Polytechnic Lyceum of NTUU “KPI”), Ilya Ilyin (Kherson Physical and Technical Lyceum) and Artem Zakharenko (Polytechnic Lyceum of NTUU “KPI”). The team has a 49th place in the overall standings of about 400 teams from the Central, North and Western regions and second place among the teams of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, who took part in the first stage of the tournament.
In total, 5 teams of the Institute of Physics and Technology of National Technical University of Ukraine
«Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» — 4 teams of freshmen majoring in 113 Applied Mathematics and 1 team of 3rd year majoring in 125 Cybersecurity.
Regardless of the results, all teams are well done! Special respect to freshmen who immediately after joining joined the Olympic movement and spoke in honor of the faculty. We will support team spirit, passion and interest in intellectual competitions.
