Today, November 4, Stepan Tarasenko, a second-year master’s student at the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis, spoke at the V International Scientific and Practical Conference «Modeling, Control and Information Technology» with a presentation on «Sperner’s Theorem».
The conference, which runs from 4 to 6 November, is held in the following areas:
– mathematical and computer modeling of objects and processes;
– computational methods;
– robotics, automation and control;
– Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence;
– software development;
– smart grids and smart consumers;
– Information Technology.
Stepan began the story with theory and ended with real examples. The applied application of Shperner’s theorem in the problem «Secret distribution scheme» is considered, the method of proving a complicated case of Shperner’s theorem is given, the complicated Shperner’s theorem for two partial cases of a multiset is considered and proved and the possibility of generalizing the theorem to more partial cases is considered.
Stepan worked on this (and even more) with his supervisor Oleksandr Rybak.
We are very proud of our students, their passion and achievements, and we support them in everything. Do not be afraid to learn something new, looking for ways to realize your potential!
