Dear friends, the selection for research internships in Canada under the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (Mitacs GRI)the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (Mitacs GRI) program for 2024 for 3rd and 4th year students of Ukrainian universities has started.
The program covers flight, accommodation, meals, health insurance, and a number of activities for applicants. The application deadline for the Mitacs GRI program is September 21, 2023.
This summer, 107 students from Ukraine are taking part in the Mitacs GRI program. All three programs – Mitacs GRI, Mitacs GRA, Mitacs Accelerate International – have already trained 300 Ukrainian undergraduate and graduate students since last summer. You will gain experience working on applied research projects at universities or companies in Canada and commercializing them, which will contribute to both your personal professional growth and the development of innovation in Ukraine and Canada.
On August 17, at 15:30 Kyiv time, a webinar on “How to get a Mitacs internship in Canada” was held. The event is of interest to students, postgraduates, and professors from various fields of Ukrainian universities. The webinar covered Mitacs opportunities for Ukrainians, how interns are selected, how to apply for the program, what are the formats of research programs, and what awaits the selected interns in Canada.
