We invite senior students to participate in the summer school “AI for Defence: Drones, Security, and Disinformation” from June 24 to 29, 2024, which will take place in a mixed format in Kyiv, Lviv, and Kharkiv. Offline locations will be in equipped shelters, which will be announced before the event.
During the school, we will familiarize ourselves with the basics of technologies for enhancing defense capabilities and working with drones, we will explore various aspects of these technologies, including the use of drones in military affairs, the use of artificial intelligence algorithms, the possibilities of autonomous navigation, etc. In addition, we will cover practical aspects such as assembling and programming drones, as well as setting up flight control systems. A separate direction of the school will be the fight against disinformation from the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
The summer school will consist of two blocks:
📍June 24-27 — lectures and master classes by highly qualified experts and specialists in three areas:
1️⃣Hardware of drones
2️⃣Artificial intelligence and algorithms for drones
3️⃣Artificial intelligence to combat disinformation
📍June 28-29 — Hackathon, where you will work on a group project and present the result to the judges.
To participate in the hackathon, you will need to divide into teams of 3-4 people. You can form a team yourself, or we will help you form it before the event among other participants.
