The team of the MMDA department in final of Sikorsky Challenge 2024

The team of the MMDA department presented the WarScan project at the artificial intelligence start-up project competition and won the right to participate in the finals of the XIII International Festival of Innovation Projects “Sikorsky Challenge 2024”!

The team proposed the WarScan platform, which uses satellite data and artificial intelligence to track war-damaged fields in real time, determine the percentage of field damage, and detect local damage and craters from bombings.

Investors are interested in the project, so we plan to work meaningfully and undergo training under the program “Innovative entrepreneurship and startup launch practice”, undergo incubation and acceleration of our startup projects and present our project with dignity in the finals of the Sikorsky Challenge 2024!

Composition of our team:
Sofia Drozd is a master’s student of the FI-31mn group of the MMDA department, a specialist in satellite data processing and artificial intelligence development with 4 years of experience. Participant of World Bank projects.
Saliy Yevhenii is a master of the FI-31mn group of the MMDA department, a sign engineer and a specialist in satellite data processing with 2 years of work experience. Participant of World Bank projects.
Kuzin Volodymyr is a master of the FI-31mn group of the MMDA department, a specialist in satellite data processing with 2 years of experience.
Artem Shelestov is a specialist in the field of data processing with 2 years of experience in international projects
Oleksandr Parkhomchuk is an assistant at the MMDA department, a specialist in the field of satellite data processing with 5 years of experience in the field of images, a participant in the SWIFT, EU projects.
Liza Volkova is an assistant at the MMDA department, UI/UX and a graphic designer with 2 years of work experience in the field of marketing.
