An important event has taken place for the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis and our students – a double degree agreement has been signed with the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. By enrolling in the master’s program “Methods of Mathematical Modeling, Pattern Recognition, and Computer Vision” in the specialty 113 Applied Mathematics, students can simultaneously obtain a diploma from Igor Sikorsky KPI and a diploma from the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (Germany) in the field of Data Science.
The main idea of the agreement is that educational components (disciplines) that students study at Igor Sikorsky KPI will be credited at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and vice versa, meaning that the student acquires knowledge from two educational programs simultaneously. It is planned that students will study for the first year at Igor Sikorsky KPI at our department, and for the second year in Germany at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, prepare their thesis under the guidance of two supervisors (representatives of both universities), defend it once in English and obtain two diplomas.
The Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is the closest partner university of our department, together we are developing cooperation with the Center for Key Competencies Aida&ti in the field of artificial intelligence and big data processing.
We invite you to take advantage of the unique opportunity of our master’s program – to obtain a double degree and develop communication skills for a successful career start.
