The scientific works of our students under the guidance of the department’s teachers won prizes in the first round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers on artificial intelligence!
On October 17, at the meeting of the Competition Commission of the first round, the winners were determined among 33 submitted student research papers.
The first place went to:
• Intelligent methods of feature engineering for the task of semantic segmentation of forest condition using satellite data
Authors: Salii Yevhenii and Kuzin Volodymyr – master students of the department
Supervisor: Lavreniuk Alla Mykolaivna, Associate Professor of the Department
The second place was awarded to:
• Satellite intelligence methods for detecting agricultural fields damaged as a result of military operations in Ukraine
Author: Drozd Sofia, master student of the department
Supervisor: Yaylymova Hanna Oleksiivna, Senior Lecturer of the Department
All of our students were awarded diplomas for winning the first round of the competition, and the first place winners, Salii Yevhenii and Kuzin Volodymyr, were recommended to participate in the second round of the competition.
